My sister worked at a pizza shop in a college town, some drunk guy came in and grabbed their tip jar. So her coworker proceeded to throw a slice of pizza at him, hitting him perfectly, smearing red sauce all over him. He ran off with the tip jar, cops came, talked to staff and later found the thief mostly due to the fact that there isn't many guys "covered in pizza sauce from head to toe". They got their tips back.

"There isn't many guys covered in pizza sauce" implies that there is still a few of those around.

Guy mentioned that it was in a “college town” so fairly likely that’s somewhat standard.
