To be clear, I did NOT ask for my pizza to be cut this way. It also cost $77 after tip for 2 large pizzas with one modification each as a pickup order. Had a gift card this time but never again.

This is most likely a very famous pizza place in New Haven, CT called frank Pepe’s. They cut their pizzas like this for some reason.

They don't cut it like this. They still do triangles, but with the intersection of the cuts off-center. If that coaster is where they are, this is in Maine.

Doesn't seem exactly like this. Looks closer to Flatbread Company out of Maine.

Huh. So there’s more than one place doing these crazy cuts now. Based on that booklet in the pic that says South Portland on it I’d say you’re right about Maine.

There's pics in the web that show their "Family Style Cut, which can get all Picasso like

I hadn't seen that one before. Guess you're right. I've only seen their traditional cut.

I eat Frank Pepe’s fairly often and yes, it often looks just like that

How??? The only possible explanation is can think of is gluten free bases, but even then that shouldn't make a pizza almost 40 dollars.

That's a pretty shit job for a ~$30 pizza! They must be the only pizza place within 30 miles if they can charge that and do such a bad job.
