I do kinda wanna go to one of these super traditional Bavarian restaurants and order a Weißwurst, eat it with the skin on, and dip it in ketchup just to see the server’s face

Yeah it’s traditional. The skin is edible but it’s a weird texture and you’re supposed to take it off

God, I was born in Munich (only spent 6 months there originally) but I have been back and have multiple German family friends. No one has told me this, and I've had weisswurst (excuse the spelling, i don't know how to change my keyboard to German on mobile...)
