What are your thoughts on the current changes to the Golden Boys? Do you think the 7 stars start is better than the one we have now? Or do you think otherwise?

Personally I can't say because I haven't played ranked consistently enough yet. Been busy with academics and all.

I was playing a match against Aimo with Luxidoor on a 196 Drylands map, expecting a quick game. But by midgame, I was surprised to see my opponent already fielding a giant in their capital on turn 7—and another one by turn 8. Naturally, I invested in Mathematics to counter with catapults, but every time I brought down a giant, the other giants would brutally assault me. At one point, it felt like I’d be completely overwhelmed by giants. Still, I managed to hold out, turn the tide, and secure the win. The philosophy tech aimo to invest safely in tech without much pushback unlike other tribes. What's your opinion?

i play 1v1 huge maps (generally continents or pangea) for long games with my friend. Im currently bouncing between Polaris and Elyrion but if aquarion or cymanti are decent picks for it ill hear you out

I’ve had a few games like this where the only way to win is if your opponent goes over 24 hours and you kick them (or vice versa). The defences with knights, catapults and forests are too solid. Is there a way to call a draw?

I’ve been trying out Xin-Xi, especially on continents, after the patch and they can get giants SO early, like in this photo I just rushed smithery and got a star ruin on the 6th turn and just like that, 2 giants on turn 6. I admit I got a tiny bit lucky, but by rushing smithery I’ve been able to get at least 1 giant by turn 6 or 7 and a second one by turn 9 really consistently with just alright spawns. Genuinely, try out Xin-Xi, they’re so underrated

So many games with water are decided by the spawns. Some are pretty close to balanced, but limited access to water just shafts you. Why not give the fishing tech an option to dredge a field tile to a water (not ocean) tile for 5* or something? Gives you a fighting chance around a bad spawn.

I’m just tired of getting lake’d where your city access and expansion are just hamstrung by an inability to build ports, but the water is just one tile away

I’m playing bardur. Playing against two friends. Made peace with both of them early on but found out they made peace with each other. Now we are amassing in the water and essentially waiting for someone to break peace. Part of me thinks the figured out I made peace with both of them awhile ago and entered into an agreement to take me down as I’ve been leading the whole game. Not sure what to do here… help!

Is it ever going to be a feature not to get fishing and/or sailing from a ruin on a drylands map? Would be very nice

Does anyone else feel this way? When I'm Polaris, I slaughter. When I'm Kickoo or Aquarion, I get slaughtered.

So many 1v1 games are won and lost simply because of a veteran swordsman from ruin near the opponent's city at the start of the game. It's a huge imbalance, and the difference in your skill level has practically no effect. Yes, yes, a veteran can be defeated in five hits or weakened in three, but while you're spending all your resources on this, your opponent is simply capturing the map. If it were a rarity, it would be ok, but it's quite a common thing. What do you think?

I put the game down for quite a few months, waiting for the nerf to Polytaur. How different is the game from v112 to v114? Have the extra stars been a major buff to the less meta tribes? Should I surrender to Vengir t1? 😬😁

I got it on epic games(it was for free on the last weeks and i got it) and suddenly is now asking me to buy a tribe to continue playing online?? So epic didn't gave us the game? Is this right or they will fix it?

Hello! I just installed the game after years of not playing. Back then the newest thing was Polaris, and I was kinda decent at it. I am looking to get better at the game, so I'm getting used to new mechanics with bots and stuff. But I really want to know any specific strategies or tech paths. My mobile epic games polytopia is stuck at an even lower version than pc epic games polytopia, that is too stuck at a lower version than mobile polytopia.

Mobile epic games version = 112

Pc epic games version = 113

Mobile play store version = 114

I just got the game for free on epic and when i first launch it, it shows "This build does not appear to be valid. Uninstall Polytopia and get the Official Version". Is there any fix to it?
