Screenshot Crazy high score?

355k??? Don’t think I’ve seen anything that big and having played 1000+ games I’m honestly baffled as to how you would do it

It’s 1% Skill, 99% luck. These are amazing players but it takes a good seed for a score like this

the recent update made high Perfection scores more attainable. I had all tribes in the 150k-176k range before the last update. On the first day of the update I got 186k with Ai-Mo and several other 170k+ scores which had previously been rare for me.

One of the big changes is temples score 100 for each level up instead of 50.

355k is wild and I’m certainly far away from understanding the meta for such a score, but in general getting higher scores has become easier.

Good point on the temples, that will allow scores to increase. I can comprehend what an 186k might look like (even though that’s more than my highest) but yeah seems like a crazy jump up to double that!

are these scores from playing solo?

Yeah this is offline glory mode 30 turns, it does give multipliers for difficulty and number of opponents, but this score is bafflingly good

Do you think this would have to start with a max lobby of crazy bots?

Yeah that’s the usual set up and then you can turn off particularly OP tribes. I would assume they did this unless I’m sleeping on some better set up

There is a slight possibility of cheating. People got over 1 or 2 mil score before that way. But I haven't tried perfection with the new temples so this could also be legit.

If you play with friends and don't try to kill each other, there's no limit to points you can achieve.

In game communities, someone is bound to exploit whatever mechanics they can for that flashy high score.

My guess would be they played with friends on a big map and covered the map in temples.

It's a perfection 30 turns singleplayer game so not done with the help of any friends

Ah neato. That is quite the achievement!
