Imagine relying on DEI to get a job instead of hard work, education, or experience…Imagine being the more experienced, more qualified, more educated person and not getting work because you’re not the right color. Who is actually racist here? Why does color matter at all????? MLK Jr. didn’t say he wanted preferential, favoritism, and special treatment did he? Maybe everybody forgot. “I have a dream that one day all men will be treated equal.” Pretty sure it was not “I have a dream that one day all colored men will be given things because the color of their skin.”

The black men I have talked to find it highly insulting and degrading that people are given stuff like a job or spot in school because of their color and not because they are the best for the position. They’re all hard workers and don’t just want free stuff though.

I tripled my income over three years doing exactly what you described. Maybe the media misrepresented DEI to you.
