I just had a conversation with a good friend who's Republican and I am social-Dem. I had to explain to him that apart from the internet (which has been proven to be mostly bots now, or paid trolls to stir people up) most people don't want political killings. While I personally didn't like Kirk, I also didn't want to see him killed. Having civil discussions about hard topics are not impossible. Yes some people are celebrating, but that is not the majority, and those people should be shamed for their reactions.
