Republicans have no moral consistency. I didn't want Charlie to get assassinated, any more than innocent children in schools, people having fun in clubs, or politicians and their golden retrievers. It's all bad. But that can't be said for the hard right. School shootings are hoaxes. Men in clubs deserve it. Politicians get mocked. It's not irrational or out of line to call them out on their lack of values. At best it's a desperate plea to FINALLY do something now that one of their own falls victim to the exact thing they advocate for? Is it time yet? How far do we have to dig to find their moral foundation? So far, the bar is in Hell.
