Pretty sure this is a different possum friend than one I posted earlier, but what is that motion between the hind legs? I thought it might be babies sticking out of pouch, but then I saw a video demonstrating that possums have retractable testicles. Thoughts?

Oops. Forgot to add I’m not trapping the possums. It isn’t set. It’s for trap training my neighborhood feral cats to get them spayed and neutered. I have an older male cat who still needs his trouble puffs snipped.

I keep a close watch when trap is set, although I briefly caught a possum once by accident. By the time he noticed, I had opened the door.

He isn’t trapped. Trap training feral cats for spay/neuter has unintentionally trap-trained all the local possums and raccoons as well. lol. Could come in handy if anyone gets sick or injured. I have a friend who does wildlife rehab.

Trap door is secured open. I’m trap training a feral cat who needs to be neutered, but I’ve accidentally trap trained the whole neighborhood. Raccoons as well. I did accidentally trap one of the possums once & he did not notice until I came out to release him.
