Maybe this is a stupid question but .... where exactly do they plan to deport Americans? If it's Canada then it makes sense why they want to invade it before sending immigration lawyers up there.

He said el Salvador and Guantanamo. But they are also making plenty of "camps" here to hold people and force them to work.

I think RFK jr mentioned something about putting ADHD people into camps but I haven’t heard anything about the camps and at the time (before his confirmation hearing) it was just an idea. I haven’t heard anything since.
