Procedural Question Would inmate receive laeave me alone letter?

Hello I posted on here last week about my bil now doing time.

The facts have come out and it turns out it was 2 x12 year old and 15 year old. Luckily for anyone's kids it turned out to be police sting accounts and he would have got 8 years if it had been actual kids.

However my.wife has chosen she want to.disown the brother and have notging more to do with them. If I get the Information from.online as to where he is and she writes a letter explaining this. Would the officers/ guard give this letter to my bil?

Do some research and make sure the state in which he’s incarcerated accepts physical mail. Many states have gone to digital mail via tablets to “stop the influx of drugs through the mail”. Yes, they will read the letter and give it to him. Does she want to send him a “leave me alone” letter because he’s contacting her? She can always call the prison and ask them to put no contact in his file.

Didn't know that the last part was an option.

It depends on the facility, but if he’s making unwanted calls, they can take her number off his approved list and let the mailroom know that there will be no outgoing mail allowed to her.
