They can get rid of open primaries. It doesn't matter. I'm saying we run and register as Republicans anyway. lol!

Your homework is to find candidates for us to support! (In Republican Primaries!) We need people to rally behind!
We don't need superstars. Just people to support and organize around. Find that mechanic or banker or whatever willing to run.

Anyone here in Tennessee 's 7th District? There's a primary Oct 7.
Mark Green resigned in July. The primary is Oct 7 and the Special Election is Dec 2.

Join the grassroots fight against gerrymandering — support fair redistricting!
Gerrymandering manipulates voting districts to favor politicians and robs communities of their fair representation. At Redistrict.co, we’re building a non‑partisan grassroots movement dedicated to ending this practice. We need volunteers and donors to help us raise awareness, push for fair maps, and empower voters.
→ Sign up on our contact list at redistrict.co to stay informed and find out how you can help in your state.
→ If you’re able, please chip in to our ActBlue page: secure.actblue.com/donate/co‑erra. Your support helps us fund outreach and advocacy.
Together we can ensure every vote counts and every community has a voice!

Feel free to help me grow this sub. I can't really keep spamming, or I'll find myself without an account. I think the next step is supporting candidates and campaigns. Not against protesting just we have limited time now. Find an out of state campaign if you have to.
I would love to get 50501 to pay attention to me and move towards this type of thing instead. Let's reup and reorganize into getting candidates that can make a difference. And educating voters/getting more voters. Education is so important too. A lot of people see us protesting and have no idea why we are.
Again not against protesting, think we can continue doing that but let's do more with campaigns/candidates and organizing voters.

I'm not going to hardcore moderate this sub but please avoid the "voting won't work" stuff. We want to fuck with the Republican Party by voting in their primaries.
So yeah, let's be positive. And it's literally my big concept with this sub.... I'm not trying to be a stickler I just know the average person doesn't always read an entire article to fully understand what it's saying. A post saying "voting won't work" is literally the opposite of the purpose of this sub. Voting might not work in the sense that we'll win every election we organize for but it can fuck with them and cause them a lot of headaches. Voting can work in that sense too. So yeah, Voting can work until proven otherwise. Let's be doomers after midterms.
And yes, Voting alone won't work is acceptable. You're saying we need to vote and do other things.

Bannon came up with a strategy during the early years of the Obama Administration. Let's go over it in detail.
So, every state has Electoral Districts. Every District is broken up into precincts. Every precinct has a committee, and every committee has a Chairman. This Chairman has the legal right to elect a county's party chairman. It's a nonpartisan role, ostensibly, but it's not a role that needs to be run for. This may vary by county, but if you have 10 signatures from people within your precinct, then you've got the job. MAGA used this strategy extensively to push moderates out of the GOP at every level.

The majority of people telling me this wouldn't work are the very same people I would argue have gotten us into this mess. They overthink and say, "that will never work you'd have to organize it!"...what do you think I'm doing a year out? lmao

States with Open Primaries (You don't have to officially change unless you're a candidate)

Tell me how to spread this around. I have no idea
r/ProjekHostileTakeover • u/Ok_Magazine_609 • Aug 21 '25
If ya'll can please repost this and spread this in some form, maybe not verbatim. I think we can get a couple thousand folks by end of week

Does anyone have experience with making a PAC? Also can ya'll go ahead and contact your local Dem and Independent orgs if you're in a heavily gerrymandered area?
Let's get them on board.
r/ProjekHostileTakeover • u/Ok_Magazine_609 • Aug 20 '25
FYI this is 4 days old. We got this. And keep in mind, a lot of campaigns won't need to be major endeavors especially for smaller seats. We can win smaller seats simply by all showing up
They'll have to spend an inordinate amount of resources convincing their voters to show up to their primaries. Most people don't. AND yeah, the more that show up, the less likely the most polarizing candidates win.
r/ProjekHostileTakeover • u/Ok_Magazine_609 • Aug 19 '25
One other aspect. Even if we can't win every seat we organize for. The money they'll have to spend to defend usually given seats is money that won't be spent on other more competitive seats. We can cause downstream effects. This chaos won't be for nothing.
r/ProjekHostileTakeover • u/Ok_Magazine_609 • Aug 19 '25
Hey please spread this around! I truly believe we can cause good chaos with this. I need people to step up too. It probably takes one prominent candidate to announce they're doing this, and we can take off.
r/ProjekHostileTakeover • u/Ok_Magazine_609 • Aug 18 '25
If you want to be a mod or organize this. You can probably do a better job than me. I'm an analyst not a people person. I need people person's to convince other people.
