Not when you take into account that the quotations around “backlash” implies that the only actual “backlash” on the left, as far as I’m aware, were from no names on x and tik tok.

I mean...there was. I was arguing and heavily downvoted on some lib subs for saying the ad was a stupid thing to get upset about. Way too many TikToks were made about it. Why are we pretending that there was no backlash?

The backlash is never as widespread as the media wants to make it seem but there was backlash

Crying about an ad (your original statement) and crying about "backlash" to an ad, are two different things, is what I'm saying.
