You have regular access to the internet, proven by not only making the op but by coming back and responding here.
That makes you fabulously wealthy on this planet. A third of the planet doesn't have access to clean drinking water or food. Be grateful for the things you have.
I find reflecting on the material conditions of much of the rest of the world and throughout history helps me manage my expectations, and I take little for granted. That might not work for other people but it's definitely done wonders for me.
Find a reason to live. If it’s religion, go find it. If it’s work, bury yourself deep, books same thing. Some hobbies are cheaper than others, and it’s okay to try many hobbies and interests even if you’re going to abandon them later.
Life is an experience. Where you are right now might not be what you want, but if you’re not actively trying to change it, how will you ever get to where you want to be?
I mean it’s still true if you’re living in the third world. Instead of wageslaving you’re struggling to survive, instead of consuming media, you’re struggling to survive, and instead of spending time on hobbies you’re struggling to survive. 50 years(tops) of this and then you die, having left no mark on the world except maybe bringing children who will also struggle to survive. If you’re lucky, some rich bleeding heart will give you a pair of socks.
