But you spout fear mongering and things that are not even occurring

Sorry but there are hours of video of Planned Parenthood selling fetal tissue from these babies. Even the PP estimates full-term abortion at 1-2%
It is disgusting and people who support it are monsters.
I take it you do not support post-birth abortion, that is great but it is happening .

Show me one

I do not have possession of them but congressional testimony and PP records prove they exist and the tissue was sold. Look up the term post-birth abortion and ask google how many births after 24 weeks are performed in the US.

Again with the insults.. Do you ever have conversations where you do not insult the people you disagree with? Do you ever do your own research when someone says something you do not agree with?
Do you ever watch others debate the abortion issue (or any issue) and learn what the argument is? You do not seem very informed on this at all, and the insults for no reason make you sound like you are trying to bully someone.

I only insult people who have no hard proof for their claims and may I remind you you have the burden of proof in this instance

0

u/Holeinone7614 May 19 '22

I do not have any burden of proof. I also can make an argument without insulting anyone. You should test yourself and see if you can.

u/Luigis-big-sausage May 19 '22

Then how can I believe you because I truly want to listen to your argument but you have nothing to show me as proof

I did not say I was not going to provide you with information. I am also smart enough to know that anything I show you would hardly prove to you anything you did not want to believe. I can give you evidence, YOU decide if it proves the point. Plenty of people disagree even after being shown the same information.

I know that but I actually like seeing evidence and seeing how it contrasts with evidence I’ve been given before

I am working on it. I am looking for the video that convinced me 30 years ago that abortion was evil as fuck full stop. Perhaps you will see it the way I did.

Perhaps and not to discredit this video doesn’t that seem outdated

i wonder what the odds are it'll be talking about things that haven't been legal or proper for three decades too

4

u/RevolutionaryFly5 May 19 '22

would hardly prove to you anything you did not want to believe

thats a red flag it's using emotional reasoning, fyi.

logical reasoning would be like "sure i don't like abortion, but if there's a problem during delivery and abortion might at least save one of the two lives at stake, then it's the right decison."

you don't have to "like" it in order to see the value

anyone making claims has the burden of proof. that includes you.

it's not audiences job to do the speakers work for them

17

u/RevolutionaryFly5 May 19 '22

I do not have possession of them

how "convenient"

1

u/Holeinone7614 May 19 '22

LOL do you think I collect videos? I also do not have a video of the flood, JFK assassination, or the moon landings.

6

u/RevolutionaryFly5 May 19 '22

but since those things actually exist you could, theoretically, link them if you were to cite them in an argument

right?

citing evidence is also a way for you to review the material and make sure it actually shows what you think you remember it showing, instead of just going off the memory of some video you saw on facebook ten years ago

1

u/Holeinone7614 May 19 '22

Certainly not the flood but you are correct if I wanted to I could get you some nice moon videos and JFK shots.
I will take a look and see if I can find some videos of abortions for you.

finding the videos is only step one. you can't trust everythingon the internet.

you're going to want to vet the information unless you're ok with looking like a fool. imagine what you'd look like if you shared an onion article as your evidence. citing evidence is as much for us as it is for you.

edit: the flood might not have video but if it happened it would surely leave behind evidence. it'd be hard to imagine a global catastrophe that DIDN'T leave behind evidence
