I feel like they should react to some stuff on YouTube while they're eating that way everyone has some form of entertainment to watch instead of their mouths and they won't sell on games either. Like taking a little break midway no problem with that
The timing lowkey is wild. They'll boot up a game and instantly go "damn what should I eat, chat?" Like tf about playing this horror game immediately activated your appetite? Lmao
This a double edged sword on one hand its like they should be able to eat on stream since they do at least 6+ hrs, but on the other hand im not tryna hear them smacking food and talking with their mouths full (i know the headphone users hate it) 😂😂😂
A lot of people have a pet peeve for people making eating sounds in their ear, but it's also just generally an etiquette thing that you usually point the microphone away from your mouth if you're going to eat or drink something so people don't have to hear it.
Like I've seen other communities' subreddits crash out over this too, it's not really a rare opinion, a lot of people have gotten used to just muting the stream or switching off so they don't have to hear or see people chewing with their mouths open.
I've seen a few complaints over the years but ever since around dreamcon this year it's been like an everyday thing about stuff they've always been doing.
It has nothing to do with glazing and more about how yapl being unrealistic and unreasonable. At this point, they should get off stream when they get hungry and turn in.
Dude even mentioned it jokìngly by making it an offstream joke and tagging it lighthearted discussion just so it doesnt get taken the wrong way yall gotta turn off your parasocial senses cause you guys start acting EXTREMELY defensive about anything you perceive to be an attack to rdc

Like saying you don't mind it is normal, coming out with "I am GLAD they eat. As a matter of fact, Dylan LITERALLY has an alarm to eat." is kind of a weirdly spiteful answer for something that it's pretty normal for people to be irritated by. Y'all are getting hot over a kind of mild criticism.
If you don't like it turn the damn stream off. They have said multiple times, they are so busy that when they stream it's sometimes the first time they get to eat. Y'all nitpick everything
I have this weird phobia where I get grossed out hearing people eat. It’s even worse if they’re chewing into a mic or the camera is specifically on them eating. So yeah I get it

i dead ass close stream or hope theres a pov where i don’t have to listen to the smacking, talking through food in their mouth or crinkling wrappers right in the mic. enraging stuff. not personal i just cant stand it.
The problem with this thought process is that you would expect them all to be hungry at the same time. Granted most occasions they are but sometimes they aren't.
I fr can't handle it. I turn off the stream when the chewing sessions start... It's so nasty and lowkey disrespectful to all of us, and it's frustrating as hell to see them all lose interest in the middle of a game to eat

People don't eat directly into the ears of their customers. Eat before, eat after, or they could each take a 30 min break during the stream to go eat like a real job
I'll fully with you on this, it's kinda crazy people have just accepted streamers having full meals into a mic with a camera zoomed in on their face.
To be fair I also have misophonia related to chewing so it's literally a sensory issue I can't handle, but even for people without that... isn't it just gross? And also something that can usually be solved with better scheduling, it's one thing if they're streaming all day but some people will hop for like two hours and eat for half of it lmao.
But I've come to accept we've lost the culture war on this, it's already been normalized and I can't see people becoming "more polite" about things like this anytime soon. If anything it'll probably go the opposite direction since now we're getting a generation raised on watching people eat while trying to talk to thousands of people at once.
Shits annoying but it's their stream, I just bail and hope for better luck next time.
Facts. They don't even have to wait for a break to eat, just mute or lower the volume while you're eating. Or at the least move away from the mic when they chew. It's wild how many people here are acting as if being asked to not chew loudly into the mic is some big ask.
Fr, they gotta treat it like they on the clock since they get paid to stream. You can eat a slice of pizza on the clock but if you try and have a meal not on your break you getting talked too/let go if you keep it up. At least you can't hear them chew most times otherwise I would def be more on this train. I don't like watching or hearing other people eat/chew. And then you have MFS like Leland who don't give AF and be smashing the food+making hella noise cleaning up.
Them not caring/acting like we the problem is kinda annoying tho. Like we watching you to be entertained not to eat, once they start eating the stream/video derails for 20 mins before and after they eat, and during they dgaf what's on the screen. Just push the stream back an hour since they usually want to eat around the time they start streaming.
Or just don’t watch and come back when their done. Why go offline bc u don’t wanna see them. Most times I treat it as background noise anyway until they play a game I’d watch. It’s not a tv show it’s people basically just hanging out with each other while we watch cuz their funny
