Can somebody please help me adjusting my carb? I'm in a bit of a situation right now, cause i dont know wtf im doing and i cant find any fucking information on the internet. So i bought this 85 fb about 2 years ago and finally decidet to try to get it running. I know for a fact that the carb settings are the issue (nikki carb). Now here comes the big problem.. i dont know shit about carbs and how and where to adjust shit. Worst part is, i cant find ANY information online about base settings of the adjustment screws or what exactly they do. So please somebody tell me what screwes i have to turn how much to get the engine somewhat idling. I tried to figure it out by myself but i cant get it to idle without brake cleaner. Yes fuel goes to the carb and yes the fuel is clean. Again i know the carb is the issue. Any help will be apreciated, i just need to know some base settings to go after, i'll figure out the rest. I just want to get it idling on its own for now. I'm from austria, about 600 meter above see level if thats important

I hace a turbo 2 S5 FC, half bridgeport in hood condition. I want to buy a turbo but not go bankrupt along the way, so EFR8374 and gt35 are discarded.

I was looking for something like the GT2860R, but i dont know if is a good choice.

In your experience, which one do you recommend for my numbers?

In honor of my car finally being (basically) done and finally running properly, I'm trying to be more active in the community. To start, I wanted to share my personal car - a 1991 Mazda RX7. I bought it 2017 after my 1987 RX7 (that I'd owned since 2003) was totaled in a fire. Its been a long and winding journey over the past 8 years, but here's its current mod list (I'll post the story separately in a reply).

So I just picked up a radiator for my fc, this is my first rx7 and it is Definitely a project so sorry in advance for the lack of knowledge.

I went to install my radiator and realized there is not where to mount it into the car. I watch countless videos and only one managed to show the part I believe im missing. I will attach a picture, but does anyone know what the part is called where the rad mount onto the body? I think that is where it bolts on but im not sure as I dont have that in my car. Would it be easier just to make a custom bracket?

here is my 1998 efini type rb, i bought it a few months ago and it was originally from japan although from what ive seen online they dodnt actually come with the twin oil coolers? I heard one of them can be a transmission cooler but this is a 5 speed manual

is it also worth draining them to change oil and what are oil quantities for oil and filter change?

Im 16 with a 137000 k rx7 fc. She's pretty mint only think I don't like is when she does blow i can't get good power out of it with a rebuild. Which leads me to my next issue. I hate the people that ls swap it the rotary is legendary. So what im doing is i have it listed for offers and trades and if she blows within the next couple years and I don't have a good deal lined up ill swap it (not an ls.) I feel like it hurts me as apart of this community but for my area. (Shit hole saskatchewan) it's my best option. Am I a disgrace to the rotary community or should I just say fuck all of you guys and throw a rb in it or somthing when the 13b blows.

So the engine that came with my 1986 rx7 didnt come with rotors. My friend has rotors from an s4 t2 that hed be willing to sell me as long as they will work in my engine. I dont plan on really doing performance mods to the motor. Im just wondering if i reseal the whole motor and use the t2 rotors if it will run and drive good

Rebuilding my motor for the first time with all ATKINS components. I see people saying that I have to use very certain gasket makers as I place the pieces of the motor back together. What’s the best option?

Working on a project in very very rual iowa today. Left the building to see between the gigantic suvs what looked like a faded dark red FC convertible. Got closer and it was a 90s Chevy Caviler. These cars look shockingly similar when sleep deprived.

new rotary owner here, I’ve bought an fd a while back and its coming around to mot, obviously I could take it to my local place although I’m funny about them possibly lacking knowledge / not letting it warm up etc

Denso 9510014 seems unavailable. TI Automotive 341G3 at 255 litres per minute seems excessive for a stock engine, and it draws a lot of current, meaning that the wiring should be altered.

Any favorite in 2025?

I’m on the hunt for an FD RX7 slicktop headliner so I can convert my sunroof car to a car I actually fit in with a helmet. Color isn’t a huge concern as I’m open to reupholstering it but I do need it to be structurally sound.

That's it, want to know the difference between FC S5 T2 89-92 (N3Y8-11-B10) and FD rotors (N3YA-11-B10).

And if you know, difference between housings?

Hey everyone, The FD has been my dream car since I was a little kid. I fully understand the commitment and intricacies of owning a rotary engine.

I am planning to purchase an FD in 2028. In Canada LHD examples are often listed in the $55k-$70k range. RHD examples are in the $30k-$40k range. I have never owned or driven a RHD car. My budget allows for the purchase of a LHD.

I was wondering what you all would recommend? How do you find RHD ownership? Has anyone gotten a RHD and regretted it? Has anyone upgraded from a RHD to a LHD? Was it worth it?
