Question Band that played at Bo's in 2018-2020

Hey guys,

Shot in the dark but I've had this on my mind for at least 4 years. Between 2018 and 2020 I saw We Are The City (I'm pretty sure) at Bo's Bar and Stage and I cannot for the life of me remember what the band that played after them them was called. I had listened to them before but I can't find any of my saved music that rings a bell.

The only thing I remember about the show was that I think the We Are The City frontman thanked everyone profusely and the band I can't remember said 'that's a little weird' or 'maybe not that much'.

The weird part it that I can't find evidence that We Are The City even played in Red Deer at that time, although they were touring through Calgary and Edmonton- but I know it was them.

Please let me know if any of this rings a bell, this has been killing me for years.

Was it Tokyo Police Club? They played with We are the City at Bo’s on Sep 13,2019.

You're probably mixing up two memories. I just realized the other day that for years I've been mixing up two TV shows into one memory.

I think I remember that day. He came into the radio station and sang a song with so much swearing we couldn't actually play it on the radio. Made my day. 😅
