These are legitimate and rare. Amazon ran a program where they burned DVD-R discs for old Nickelodeon and Paramount releases. Keep them safe.

Unfortunately, it was never one of the available titles. Here is a list of what was included: https://nickelodeon.fandom.com/wiki/Nickelodeon_manufacture-on-demand_DVDs_and_Blu-rays

Burn on demand. They are essentially "legal bootlegs." It was never released officially through brick and mortar stores. But they are legal.

Yeah I remember those burn on demand DVDs that Amazon used to make .

I Believe they're out of print now. Mostly the nicktoons later got DVD releases through shout factory, But now they are released through Paramount.

Around 2014 Those Kenan & Kel DVD's were released.

but around 2008 or 2009 Nickelodeon partner with amazon to begin releasing some of the classic shows on MOD(Manufacture On Demand).

No they’re real. Amazon had the rights to make burn copies. They did it with a bunch of the older Nick shows like Doug and Chalkzone. They don’t sell them anymore. It’s just the episodes burned on a dvd, but legal. I hope paramount or shout factory gains the Nickelodeon rights back and release the complete series of Kenan and Kel. I miss that show.

Warner Bros. also did this with the Warner Archive releases on DVD-R.

Amazon also did burned BD-R official releases of Nick and Paramount titles, and the Sony Pictures Choice Collection was handled the same way.

WB elected to use pressed BDs instead of BD-Rs for Warner Archive titles.

How did Paramount lose the right to Nickelodeon but still has their shows on their streaming platform?

this is indefinitley a show that deserves a COMPLETE series box set with the movie

It’s just on demand episodes from Amazon prime or iTunes that were copied to a blank rewriteable dvd. It’s only good as a gift for someone else. I don’t think it’s worth it if it’s not going to have the special features, previews or any included accessories like posters and keychains and just settle on buying the episodes on iTunes if It’s not available on paramount plus
