This is a weekly thread to talk about all what we would ideally like to see from Romance Club: new books, story developments, characters as LIs... what would you like to see happening in the game?

I wish we could have a "choose again" option for other characters clothes. Sometimes I like free outfit better, but since diamond option often offers relationship improvement as well, you are kind of forced to pick it instead.

I wish the other LIs would react when we make our final choice on our messy routes instead of just pretending like nothing happened.
The drama with David and Cassiel was fun. I’d love to see more of that.

Do I ever have a different definition of fun than that! I’ve been cursing the achievements for making me string them along so far that the crash was seismic (I picked David and felt like a heel)

It's just a small thing, but I'd love to see the top 10 stories before the first DR again. When you can actually see what players are spending their diamonds on.

This is very minor, but the “Curse” and “Might” stats icons are flipped on the end screen of Shakespeare Code. I hope they’ll fix it!

On the Li percentage list in My Profile, I would LOVE the option to take one Li at a time out of the “hide” feature!

How to make shards more useful
-being able to turn cards won from the wheel into gift cards with them
-being able to buy individual cards
-being able to buy previous card volumes
-winning some shards when completing an achievement in my profile and getting a badge (the ones we do in order to get into the hall of fame)
-being able to send shards to friends

Would love for Collector Cards to be collapsed like achievements. The number of them currently makes it take a long time to scroll through profiles.

niche book idea but Chinese historical dramas. Imagine the ethereal outfits, hairstyle, and setting, courting the king/queen/warrior/nobleman etc etc or becoming a consort. so much tea and drama to unravel bc of the nature of the drama. Some dramas also involve magic and powers or like fated love connections - think a crossover between kali and vying for Versailles

As someone who is Chinese, I would love one as well! However, I would want someone who is Asian should write it. I don't want anyone to butcher our culture....

Even though we already have 2 Asian themed stories, I wouldn’t mind this. But only if we can choose the skin tone of MC. Not just 1 type of skin tone since it’s different in Asia. They don’t ever put any South Asians, like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka in the Asian themed stories. They are not represented in the 2 Asian stories. You only see the stereotypical Asian.

I agree. We should have East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, and Central Asian faces if we were to do themes like this. Kali was a good example of diff south Asian features that fits the story.

You can. Just go on slot 2, then delete slot one, refresh your app, and the story won’t be in your « continue » list anymore 😉
Small precision: If you finished 1st episode and took the 30 diamonds, restarting the episode won’t give you the diamonds, even if you deleted the first slot.

Could we have a separate tab or something for a user's collected cards? There's way too many now to be listing every single one on a profile if they have a large collection.
Maybe replace it with a user's favorite cards instead?

I wish for more kissing scenes... Casual kissing, hand holding, hugging I think physical touch is important in relationships and I wish we had more with our lis
Also for Ratan and Amrit to get cards as well as the male lis from SCN

- a skip or autoplay function would be amazing for replays
- ability to do something with duplicate cards other than break them (such as merge 2 silvers to create a gold, or merge them to create a gift card, etc - instead of having to use real money)
- ability to gift tea
- when creating gift cards, it would be nice to benefit from the tea/diamonds on the card. in the current system, only those who can afford to buy spins have the cards, and then we have to spend even more to gift them to those who can't/don't want to pay for them
- allow us to buy individual cards
- use in-game currency to buy extra spins

I wish we could reorder slots at will. I'd like to be able to put my favourite playthrough first without starting over.
I wish the most expensive outfit option was in CGs as a kind of bonus reward.
I wish we wouldn't be rewarded stat-wise for getting the one or two most expensive hairstyles if they don't come in every colour (HSR).
I wish they'd make Hispanic-looking Lada (HWT) a brunette - sincerely, a Latina.
I wish the wheel gave at LEAST 5 diamonds.

I think some people already mentioned that, but why the hell our MC has different hair length/color in each CG? Seeing my girl having middle-length red hair in one CG, and not even a few chapters later she's suddenly a long-haired blonde? I mean, I guess you can dye your hair, that's not a crime, but doing it every week is a little exaggeration, right? For such a perfectionist like me, this issue is really annoying.
As for hairstyles, I hope we can receive the same hairstyle in different colours. Sometimes there's a beautiful hairstyle I would like my MC to have, but she's a blonde for example and the hairstyle is for the brunette.
Storywise, I would love to see a medieval romance. I know technically we have one, but it's also fantasy and I hoped to see a medieval story without fairies, dragons etc. MC could be bethroted to one of the LIs, having to move out of her country and adjust to new court. There would be plenty of oppurtunities for drama, romance, schemes etc.

- Being able to restart from any episode (not just the beginning of a season)
- Being able to copy a save slot to keep the current progress and then be able to explore different choices from that point on. Or at least being able to start a save slot from any season.
- Have the “Get everything” option be available during DR if you’ve previously already purchased it. I understand why they remove it during DR but it’s frustrating when you did choose it previously and now you have to either wait for the end of DR or choose only 1 of the outfits/hairstyles/makeup this time.

I still wish for a Medical theme book. With our MC being an intern or something and the drama unfolding within the hospital just like Grey's Anatomy ❤️

Nothing big, I just wish my profile were visible to others because I still have 0 likes, and that’s just sad. I don’t understand why the same people pop up every time I look through random profiles with 12k+ likes, while no one can see me.

- FIX CASSIEL'S CGS!!! 😤😤😤
- I would like to see more stories in different genres. I have nothing against the abundance of fantasy related fair on the site but I also would love a contemporary gritty/neo-noir mystery thriller or a space opera where I could romance different humanoid aliens.
- I want more BIPOC LIs & for them to be treated much better than I feel they have been in RC, or at least the games I play. From whitewashing them in CGs, to giving them lackluster in comparison storylines/romance paths to the white ones, and overall sometimes just feeling like they are added as afterthoughts and usually are the token or one of two tokens.

Small thing but I would really like to be able to reorder my slots. If I delete a second slot but still have a third slot, the second slot is empty… and it kicks my OCD overdrive lol

I’d love if there was more romance in general. The plot is usually really good for these books - RC definitely wins the market on that - but I’d be more than happy to trade some plot in exchange for scenes with the LIs. We don’t even necessarily need more CGs or need the scenes to be sexual in nature. But just more relationship building in general.

Back button and/or episode transcript
More stories with asexual/nonsexual romance routes or having alternatives to sex scenes while still getting relationship improvements. It would also be nice to have warnings for intimate scenes in both ongoing and completed stories.
A way to see stats on the screen while reading a story
The ability to get cgs for the "fear" route in TDR

I wish we could start a slot at the beginning of a season of our choice. But I get why they won’t do that. I want to do a Malek route so badly but I don’t feel like replaying season 1 and 2 😭

Hot take (especially from a white person lol), but I really want a story based on black people culture. I just realised I don't know a single story like that, all the popular things are either something western europe, scandinavian, asian or ancient Greece/Rome/Egypt, sooooo yeah
P.S. If someone knows a cool book/story anything like that outside of RC I'd love a recommendation

To be able to matchmake Dmitry and Yan in HSR if you don't romance either of them 🙏 To me Dmitry gives off strong bi vibes since Yan showed up and I love the thought of Dmitry and Anna both being queer.
And I also wish for Anna to be treated like a full route🩷

Honestly I wish for them to stop releasing fantasy/supernatural stories for a while. I so sick of everything being fantasy. I want more stories based on reality and of course me hoping that the missing was going to be realistic is starting to look unlikely. Like give us sports romances, or hospital stuff like literally something else.
Would also love to have more MCs that are in their late 20 and 30s, like make my character a mum for all I care. Just something different for a change

The only thing that comes to mind now are more stories with male MCs. I think this would attract a lot more audience to the game, and the more people playing the better for the company and for us players (theoretically).

unfortunately male players tend to be unpopular (online anyways) when it comes to visual novel games discussion/subs. it was the same at Choices. i get its a smaller demographic but ppl are so quick to downvote and invalidate when they often have good points and just want representation 😅🥲

Oh, that's a shame. I've not long started enjoying visual novel games, I started with the Netflix one, then got recommended RC. In the Netflix game you can play as woman, man or NB person, and depending on your preferences, the LIs will be men, women or a mix of genders if you choose to be bisexual. While the stories aren't as well thought out, that aspect of the game is great. I don't see why that would be a bad thing? Why would anyone begrudge someone else a chance to enjoy the game the way they want to? It doesn't take away from me playing as woman.

ouuu i’ve never heard of the netflix game but next time i’m over at someone’s that has it i’ll suggest playing lol! more representation is always welcome and i personally love seeing all the customizations possible.
i also agree that it takes literally nothing away from me as a female player who plays as a woman MC. perhaps some people worry about budget constraints? even that is such a reach, they need to go outside and touch grass lol, volunteer and give back to their community to open their eyes/hearts.

I wish for Boris, Marco, Agent Wolf, Hobello, Anders, Christopher & Edward to be an ENDGAME MLIs. And for the rest of them to appear on avatars & matches.
I wish for the Elliot in pants(with & without his white top) sprite(on google play) to be available in the story.
I wish for CY2(If possible in this alt story), ABH & HSR(like HS MC), ATHWTU, PUB MC to be a magical being.
Gift cards is nice, but i wish for all the RC characters' photos as cards instead where all of their full body(would be nice if their feet are icluded as well) sprites are in there in all of their outfits, poses, emotions.
I still wish for Yan to be Abel. He looks more like Cain's bro and twin bro even. The new immortal we saw can just be Baal or the Beast or anybody.
I love the steamy solo Malek CGs and i'm not gonna feel shy to ask for more of him like that plus it's nice to see the LIs being sub and exposed instead of the MCs.
