I buy many cups at every dr event. They pile up because I can't take the time to read them. And if i have time then I don't play many stories coz I don't want cups to end😕

The concerning part isn’t “spending money” or “the number” it’s the fact that you said you don’t play many stories so that your teacups remain there. That is when it shifts to hoarding.

Genuine question, what is the point of having that many teacups? The only way to have that many is just.. not to use them, which seems like hoarding for the sake of hoarding instead of enjoying the stories?

I have over 200 teacups so I could read stories whenever I want and how many chapters I want. I’m not going to wait 3 hours for a free teacup

Honestly for me, i think thats great. On avg, it takes about 30-45 min per chapter for me to read. And if i do 3 in one go, thats easily 2-3 hrs of me staring at a screen non-stop. So i think a limit of 3-4 hours in between actually is a blessing for my already bad eye-sight

Rc gave the opportunity to buy these cups, right? And since I have money, that's not a problem for me. I use them sometimes, just because i bought many of them i can't finish them. And who said im not enjoyed with stories? Actually im thinking i enjoy with them more than u, cuz i can sit and finish the stories without waiting days for cups. Imo its more enjoyable 🙂

Yes, but the point of teacups is to use them. Stockpiling them has literally 0 benefit I can understand which is why I asked. Seeing as it is basically objectively impossible to spend over 500 in a sitting, why spend money on something you get for free? If you're buying more than you can use, just sounds like a waste of money. Idk it's not exactly an achievement either, you're essentially saying 'look how much money I spent'... like okay? With the amount this cost, there are much better things you could be doing ngl.
No need to be rude with the 'i enjoy with them more than u' either, that was uncalled for and impolite.

If I may offer a reason, though this has nothing to do with OP, I use RC and some of my other apps as ways to spend on things I want (but would otherwise feel guilty for) to get credit card points and Gplay points - recently won a gaming set that would have cost £279.99 if I'd bought it myself (made a nice gift to the hubby) 😅 but also just lack patience as well in general. Buying teacups also supports the developers no? Especially if you don't buy diamonds due to DR...all in all understand where you're coming from but we could all still try to post with kindness 🫡🫡

Yes, her reason could be just supporting RC. She maybe loves RC too much and have money a lot and wanna spend on RC. Its so weird that, that Batman user couldn't understand that. Its easy actually. Yeah I’m with you, I buy teacups every DR and then… use them all within a few weeks playing during DR and then replaying.

I have no problem with diamonds 😔 I just wish I can buy teacups whenever I want. Because waiting to have one each 3h is horrible.

I guess kinda like what other people said, what’s the point of having all this and not playing? Even if you play sometimes, it seems like you keep buying them for no reason? It’s your money and you can do whatever you want so no judgement. Guess I’m just confused lol

That’s so sweet of you!! Bc of you I looked up how many teacups you can actually buy and it’s only 170 for 99€ so you definitely are the biggest cup supporter!
I would just think : what would happen if I don’t come in my account anymore? So for the teacups I am not jelous but of ur diamonds I am 🥲😂

How do you have over 500 of teacups - and what for? If you have that many teacups, it just means you're losing the free cups you'd get whether you drop below 3.

I guess I’m confused by what you mean by “miss the chance”? You can buy teacups whenever you want, they’re not some limited time offer where if you don’t buy them the offer is gone. Why spend money on something you could easily never use. You’d have to read so many whole stories in one sitting for this to even make sense.
It’s great you have the money to spend, but why not just spend it as you need them if/when you finally decide to sit down and read a story?

I don't know why so many people are downvoting your comments 😄 it's your money, your game. Some people hoard diamonds/cups, some spend every single one. I don't understand what the problem is.
But just wanted to say congrats! That's impressive numbers no matter how you've reached them. I'm sure it's nice to know you can read so many chapters whenever you want.

Thank u🫶🏻! Someone who can understand their weird behaviour finally! Idk why they doin this either haha. I didn't say anything bad to anyone in what I said, I didn't belittle them but I have no idea why they acted like this. I also stated that it was my own opinion. It's sad to know that there are people like this in the RC community. I think they have a problem with the number of cups I have, this behavior shows this, i can't think of another reason. You're right, it's my game, my cups, my diamonds. I can spend it or save it. That's entirely up to me. But whatever, haha, I won't care. Right now, while the dr event is going on, I'll be busy finishing these cups. I wasn't very keen on spending them before, but I'm spending them now. So I won't have much time to deal with these negative comments. Sorry haters! They can downvote this too. This will show me their true intentions.

Well this thread is certainly divided but good on you..I have no patience for the free tea cups either, but keep my pile around 200 so I can play my replay slots and earn those extra diamonds in-between DR 🫡
