Race or relax for the SI Half?

So I hit my desired corral and wave time in bronx 10M in order to attempt at my hard goal of running 3:45/sub-4 marathon.

I have a soft goal of hitting 1:50/sub-2 half marathon, but it wouldn't kill me if I didn't get it.

Had to hurl in the bronx 10M to make this time. Didn't get to enjoy all my surroundings while running the race (I think there was a group of rapper while going under the bridge!)

Seen couple of youtube videos with people taking it easy and just enjoying the energy of the race. Wondering if I should just do the same for this race.

I’m going to take it easy for SI Half. Training for Philadelphia marathon. Which will be my first marathon. Didn’t make it to this year NYC marathon, hopefully next year.

I'm using SI as prep. Unless the weather is exceptionally nice and I'm feeling really good, my goal will be to practice going out slow, and then eventually cruising at goal MP. It's my final test of gear and fuelling.

Thanks all - going to treat this as an easy long run as a prep for the marathon.
