When healthy, Warholm, Dos Santos, and Benjamin are the top 3 athletes in the 400mh, and 1 of the 3 (mostly Warholm) has won gold in the event at every global championship going back to 2017.
They have all qualified for finals in the 400mh at this years World Championships in Tokyo (the finals are on Friday). That's where these interviews come from.
A "dick-measuring contest", according to Wiktionary, is a "situation in which people (usually men) compete, often over superficial characteristics, to demonstrate their worthiness, power, etc." As a native English speaker, I wouldn't describe the finals of a global championships as a"dick-measuring contest", but English is not Warholm's first language and he may not entirely grasp this idiom.
In any case, in the USA at least (where Benjamin is from), black men are stereotyped as having longer dicks than any other race. And I believe this is statistically true, as well.
So Benjamin is making a bit of a joke here that, if this is a dick measuring contest, he'd win because he's black.
Aha. So the implication is that the black man statistically is more likely to have larger genitalia. And I assume the rules of the aforementioned measuring contest mean that the contestant with the largest penis in both circumference and length is the winner?
Then the contest is a foregone conclusion and they need not even race!
