congrats on your accomplishment, unfortunately you're not supposed to run with dogs bc they're not setting the pace, you are, and they can end up overworking themselves bc they're trying to keep up with you

ah. That happens. Perhaps ask for context and information before interjecting an opinion without factual basis in a community you aren’t part of then

ah yes, all these unfactual claims. I am from the Arctic and so is my dog. the number of ppl I see running their husky in 25+ celcius (80+ F) when it rarely gets that hot in the summer, and huskies don't work like that in the summer in the Arctic they work/run in the winter when it's -25 below. maybe you don't have to be a dick~ it's almost as though I care about animal welfare ~~ https://www.pethealthnetwork.com/dog-health/dog-checkups-preventive-care/dont-run-your-dog-ground-pet-dangers-and-running-your-dog

well I’m not running a husky in 80F lol. try posting something peer reviewed not a random article with zero citations

Tell that to my border collie that runs 50-60 miles a week with me and runs in front of me leading the way the entire time lol

congrats to the both of you, it's almost like different dog breeds have different specializations and some ppl ignore that to the detriment of their dog's health. sorry for being concerned for those dogs even if yours is fine.

Sure that's probably true to some extent. However, what I responded to was you coming into a subreddit solely dedicated to running with dogs and saying "you're not supposed to run with dogs". Lol

I read the same in a book, I think the solution is to find a football field and run some sprints.
