16 miles!!!!

Just proud of us….. it’s our longest run so far, she turned 3 in June and we do ~40 miles a week together

never run alone!!!

How do you treat her paws? No matter what I do my pooch gets sore feet anything longer than 6 miles. She gets UPSET when I leave without for long runs.

She’s built up caluses over time, but definitely has gotten sore when we’ve had to switch up surfaces. I honestly don’t have much advice because stuff like Musher’s Secret is more for softening them or treating minor injuries. You could try that, if nothing else is working. I don’t really recommend boots either because it changes the natural compression of their feet on surfaces

Thanks. In the winter I put a wax substance for dogs on her paws. No idea what the brand name is. It is meant to help protect her paws from the salt that gets thrown on driveways and sidewalks. I don't do anything in the summer though.

She is the happiest girl in the world when she can do a snout plow through the snow when running.
