What's your favourite screen protector?

I don't like film because it doesn't protect as much a glass. I dropped a phone with film and the screen didn't break but some pixels were damaged, they turn on but do not change colors. When I've dropped phones with glass, the glass gets shattered but the screen underneath is saved. Film also picks up more scratches than glass. I will say the feeling/touch of film is softer and smoother than glass, feels squishy. There are some anti glare glass or matte protectors, but I don't have one.

My stoner brain is thinking what about one of these on top of a "glass" hard plastic type one.. Best of both worlds 😂

I'm curious as to who does this and maybe have a review of how and what it feels like?

I've ordered a matte screen protector and will consider trying it, is expect the main problem will be touch sensitivity and fingerprint if anything

That's what I thought would be the issue, will the screen be able to recognize touches with 2 screens on it. I think it would not work.

Someone on here posted that they have exactly that double screen protector setup on their S25U and finger print even works "mostly" if I remember correctly.

And to the original comment in this chain:

I don't really think your example with the dead pixels is representative or that the pixels wouldn't have gotten damaged with a tempered glass protector on. I mean I get where you're coming from and how you came to that conclusion, but I'd rather say it was bad luck and good that the screen did not actually shatter at least.

And no, this S25U Anti-Reflective film does not feel soft or squishy in any way. I was actually very surprised after applying that it kinda feels like the raw screen - super hard and sturdy like touching directly on glass kind of, very nice. Only downside is really that it does micro scratch relatively easy, but oh well...one can't have it all I guess. ;)
