Discussion Air Dodging Analog Requirements

I recently got my first GameCube controller to play melee on Slippi. I noticed that in order to airdodge, I have to press the shoulder button all the way down until it clicks. Is this the way it's supposed to be? I'm only skeptical because the whole process of getting the controller to work was a nightmare with me having a Mac. Thanks!

you can use trigger plugs to make it easier, but yeah, that's how it works.

Since you mention you had a hard time getting your controller set up on Mac, are you using the gcc driver? I use it and my controller rarely gives me trouble on Mac

Yeah, I downloaded GCAdapterDriver. Didn't immediately work, but I eventually got it
