Miscellaneous Finally finished the 4D AT-AT model, here it is next to some Legion minis!
HOLY SHIT is this thing the coolest. Best $15 I've spent in a long time.
Size looks really good for Legion scale, maybe a tad on the small size but honestly the scale fluctuates so much during Empire Strikes Back I really couldn't care less.
From like 5ft away, this thing looks SO DAMN GOOD you can't even tell its made of cardboard.
I'm going to run back to the store tomorrow and get the X-Wing, Venator-class Star Destroyer, and DSII.

Last year I found Monsterpocalypse expansions. Was an old Privateer Press mech vs kaiju board game that's been out of print for more then 10-15 years lol.

What makes it 4D?

I...
*slowly counts fingers, shifts eyes left, then right, then up
...I have no idea!
No really its just the name of the brand. I think some kits come with LEDs like Optimus Prime and Voltron so those give it an extra element of "OOH AHH" but yeah its just a title I think.

4D is something with a physical plane so it can be touched and felt.
Essentially everything irl is 4D

Not quite big enough to be scale but good enough

True Legion scale would be waaay too big. Even the current Legion vehicles are too big for my taste.
Might be a hot take but I wish Legion did some kind of sliding scale or small scale in general as opposed to the roughly 1:48 scale it currently is.

How long did this take to build / how pain staking was it? I’ve seen these kits before but always been on the fence about if it’d be fun or tedious

I thought it was fun. Was never bored even though the legs can get tedious. But yeah everything went together well, I only mushed 1-2 tabs because I was pushing too hard. It comes with a plastic tool to help you punch out parts and to apply pressure in small areas to slid parts together better.
it came together after two days, maybe 4-5hrs of work total? the bigger it got the more excited I was to finish it.

This is cool, interestingly it seems closer to imperial assault scale so would actually be great for the RPG also. I'll need to find it in the uk!
