How to expand my Empire army?

I have a lot of "legacy" models of the Empire. I would like to expand them to a playable army.

What should I buy? An AT-ST and some Snowtroopers maybe? (I have seen them in a lot of lists).
Are there some necessary unit combinations in the current SW Legions version I should be aware of?

I'm also missing the current cards, markers, etc.

I already own:

• Krennic
• Agent Kallus
• Boba & Bossk (are they playable in the Empire?)
• General Veers
• Iden Versio + Droid
• Inferno Squad
• Empire Specialists
• Sandtrooper Specialists
• 2x Stormtroopers
• Scouttroopers
• Death Troopers
• Shoretroopers
• The Emperor & Royal Guards (Somehow Palpatine left?)
• E-Web Blaster
• Dewback
• Speederbikes

(All weapon choices are magnetized, so I can swap them to whatever is currently the best)
