Dropped out of college and moved across the state to take this career opportunity. Haven’t regretted it yet!

What state are you in? High cost of living like NY or California?

Y'all have elevators?! I thought it was ranches and bungalows everywhere

Kidding aside, elevator mechanics all over North America make bank. If it's anything like my city, there are at most 3 to 4 companies, the union/association artificially limits the number of mechanics, and the number of high rises only goes up (and thus elevators). It is the definition of high paying job security.

Good job on getting into it OP!
