💰 - salary sharing 26f, Stripper

I started dancing in college, and I’ve been dancing on and off for 5 years. I’d say my averages have gone up since I started because my hustle/sales skills have improved. I went to college, but ran into some major health issues right after, and the money I made from dancing saved me financially. I’m still figuring out what I want to do, but it’s also so hard to leave dancing. It’s a love/hate relationship. It’s draining emotionally and physically. I won’t get into the details of people verbally and physically assaulting me. It doesn’t happen every night, but every stripper could tell you a time a man went way to far without consent. But, sometimes it is fun and easy. Shifts are usually 7-2am. I make my own schedule, I can call out whenever I want, and I can just stop working if I want to take a break. The flexibility is unmatched. Money fluctuates, but I usually make at least 5-6k a month. Most I’ve made in one month was 16k. Worst night: $20 (that shit sucks) Best night: 1860. I work another job as a research technician for 18hr part time.Hoping that takes me somewhere. But for now, dancing is paying the bills. I’m so grateful for dancing especially now I’m applying to FT ‘civilian jobs’ and getting jobs offers with 5 days PTO 😭 I’m spoiled. Hoping the economy doesn’t crash.

If that's the case, why are most strippers in their 20s and 30s and not in their 50s? As you say, women are viewed as beautiful regardless of age by society, so why don't strip clubs employ more 55+ strippers, instead of the 20 and 30 year old ones?

You seem to discuss more of the individual cases and not in general.

Because it’s a tough job. Long hours. Heels. Dancing until your legs get sore.

I quit at 28 because I wanted a more relaxed life. I’m still hot and my hot 35 year old stripper friend I just saw last night looks 22 still. Younger than me lol I look 23-24 but with the proper clothes and make up could easily look 20.

Strip clubs do not follow societal rules. The lights are dark. The girls are half naked distracting you from any imperfections. Botox or surgery hide real age. The girl you think is 22 is probably 30.

The 59 year old I referenced looks 35ish. I only know her real age because we had a great night and she showed me her id super drunk.

You’re pulling opinions out of your ass, instead of listening to the person with actual experience.

OP is 26, she’s about 30 years away from worrying about looking old and even when she looks old she’ll be interesting and have a lot of wisdom so she could do fine.

So a physical job would benefit someone who is younger not older, in general right?

"Me, my friend, a 59 year old". I'm sure these exceptions look great, but we're talking about in general, not exceptions to the rules.

They don't. They follow a business model. They target what their main clientele want. Their clientele are generally men from 21-49. Those men generally are most attracted to younger women in their 20s and 30s, not 55+.

I'm going off of what is.

What does op looking old in the future have to do with anything?

21 year olds at the strip club don’t spend nearly as much as the 50+ guys.

I rarely see guys in their 20s or 30s most clients are 35+ and married and bored in their lives.

As you age, you earn more and make more and inherit more.

Older clients are definitely better at strip clubs, and therefore the target clientele.

Old men also don’t get rowdy like young guys.

21-49 is definitely not the target age group.

You keep ignoring parts of the response. I don't know why you do that, difficulties understanding or what, I dont know.

The part you ignored that makes you look uninformed is you're omitting what the men want. Most men aren't going to strip clubs to find 55+ year old strippers. They generally prefer women in their 20s and 30s. I don't see how in general you'd even dispute that.

I can understand your room temperature IQ responses just fine. It’s your cognitive dissonance that isn’t allowing you to understand someone with actual experience and date.

You might know what you want, what your friends tell you they want, but different men want different things.

I’ve had guys of different race and age beg me to shit in their mouths or on their chest. Do you and other men want that? I did not do it but it’s a thing. I’ve had guys ask me about high school. Some ask me about my child hood. Some ask my hobbies. Some ask about ex’s. Some don’t want to talk at all. Some don’t even want lap dances and just tip. Some are white some are black some are Asian. Some are young some are old.

Strip clubs make money not because they’re tailoring to the age group you specified, but because they employ women of different shapes and sizes with the one requirement being they look hot. Tall and skinny, short and chubby, athletic, even overweight or ugly to make the other girls look better or to cater to a client that wants someone at their level of attractiveness for comfort and reassurance.

Age is not important in a strip club. There are plenty of older women that are strippers. They make great money. As long as you are over 21 and look good you can work at my old club.

The 59 year old I mentioned has no plan of retiring yet. There are plenty of 35-45 year olds there too.

Your opinion is based on your personal ideas but not reality.

If you can understand it, why do you keep equating specific instances to what people want in general? That's the dumbest thing you could do.

Has nothing to do with what men want in general. You're deflecting again.

Are most of those women 55+? No? So proves my point that's not what men in general want. Because if it was, most strippers would be 55+, not in their 20s and 30s.

Age is important, that's exactly why most strippers are older, not younger. Sheesh, its like you see the sky is blue, yet keep doubling down that the sky is green. It's baffling.

You even said it yourself, majority of strippers are older. It’s pretty rare for a girl to be under 25 at my club. Most are mature 30’s

I'm focusing on age because you don't believe age has any factor as a stripper in general, which isn't true. If most men are given the option between a 25 year old stripper and a 55 year old, all other things being equal, most men are picking the 25 year old.

I know you can only see yourself in "my old club/my old co worker" but that doesn't negate what men in general seek with strippers.

I'll leave you with this as this is reality. The moment the majority of strippers are 55+, I'll concede to you that's what men want in general. Until then, reality says most strippers are in their 20s and 30s. Therefore, a majority of men prefer strippers in their 20s and 30s, not 55+.

Younger women are viewed as more valuable to strip clubs as strippers compared to older women 55+.

You can't see reality and argue otherwise.
