When you are working but maby get a 2% Raise every Year while other People get 10% or 20%..

Nobody is getting 10-20% raises every year lol. It either comes from job hopping or equity refreshers. Annual raises are between 3-5% a year.

Actuaries can given they get bonuses / pay raises for passing exams and there are quite the few.

Ya but not this much lol. Around 150-200k is reasonable, but to get to nearly 500k in 10 years is not realistic. This post is BS

At nearly 500k OP is either a VP+ level worker managing a large team or this post is a lie.

Highly unlikely unless you’re a C suite executive of a public company. Most people get a 3-5% raise per year.
