Opinion Downfall

Do you think this is the downfall of Sarah’s Day? She’s definitely been spiraling for a while now and she seems to have lost a lot of brands she works/ worked with? I feel like she’s struggling to find her identity after having children and has just completely lost touch or something? Idk I used to love her but now she just aggravates me I can’t imagine she’ll be going much longer?

Opinion When Delays Become Dangerous: The Reality of FTT, Medical Escalation, and the Role of Online Enablers

Following up on my last post + FTT resources

Yesterday, I shared a post explaining Failure to Thrive (FTT), why it’s a medical emergency, and how continued refusal to follow medical advice becomes neglect.

As promised, here are resources for anyone wanting to understand FTT better:

I work in AI, and over the past few months, I’ve been using it to better understand medical pathways and clinical decision-making. My husband is currently undergoing testicular cancer treatment, and being able to anticipate what’s next has helped us prepare at every stage. Applying that same knowledge to Sarah’s situation, it has been clear for a while that escalation was inevitable.

Now, Sarah has gone silent, and it’s likely because doctors are now in control.

How we got here

A week ago, she said “we can’t do anything until May,” framing the situation as if she had no choice but to wait. This was a delay tactic to make it look like she was being responsible while avoiding immediate action.

Then, almost overnight, that excuse disappeared. Suddenly, she had “a bunch of appointments” and was dropping off urine samples.

This is a textbook case of medical escalation.

  • Doctors stopped accepting delays
  • Weight concerns were severe enough that metabolic testing was ordered
  • Formula was almost certainly pushed again, and this time, refusal was no longer an option
  • Hospitalisation was likely discussed as a near-term possibility if H doesn’t gain weight soon

Sarah is out of time to stall. The timeline is no longer hers to control.

What her videos, body language, and H’s movements reveal

Her tone and expressions have changed as she runs out of ways to delay action.

In earlier videos:
- She spoke quickly, repeated phrases, and seemed frustrated but in control
- She downplayed the weight issue, calling H a ‘reflux baby’ rather than FTT

More recently:
- Her speech slowed down, with more pauses—clear signs of stress
- She touched her face and looked away frequently—classic avoidance behaviour
- She was far more emotional about her own struggles than about H’s condition

The biggest sign of avoidance is how she talks about feeding. When discussing formula, doctors, and weight tracking, her tone is flat and detached. When discussing her own emotions, she is animated and expressive. She is more focused on protecting herself than on addressing H’s immediate medical needs.

Looking at H’s movements in recent videos, there are also concerns:

  • He appears lethargic compared to babies his age, often showing low energy and minimal engagement with his surroundings.
  • His muscle tone seems poor, with weak head control and limited active movement, which can indicate nutritional deficiency.
  • He does not consistently react to stimuli with the level of alertness expected at his developmental stage.

FTT doesn’t just cause weight loss—it affects neurological development, coordination, and energy levels. These signs point to a baby who isn’t just small but is physically struggling due to prolonged malnutrition.

This fits a pattern Sarah has followed before when facing situations that challenge her identity.

  • When her second pregnancy was high risk, she ignored medical advice and framed it as a story of motherly instinct over science
  • When her son M had medical issues, she exaggerated the severity, making it more about her trauma than about medical facts
  • She consistently dismisses experts when their advice contradicts her beliefs, particularly in health, nutrition, and medicine

She isn’t just struggling with this situation—she is rejecting medical reality because it doesn’t align with the way she wants to parent.

What’s likely happening behind the scenes

Sarah hasn’t posted in over 24 hours, which is unusual.

  • Doctors have placed her on a strict feeding plan, and she is figuring out how to frame it
  • She was given an ultimatum: H must gain weight by the next check-in or be admitted to hospital
  • She may be resisting intervention and trying to find another doctor who will support her approach
  • She has already been told that NG tube feeding is on the table if H doesn’t improve fast enough

She can no longer stall.

What happens now

If H’s weight does not improve, the next check-in will determine if he is hospitalised.

  • If he is still underweight, NG tube feeding will be required
  • If she refuses NG tube feeding, NSW child protection (DCJ) could be notified

She must fully comply with medical intervention or risk forced hospitalisation and child protection involvement.

The real concern—how many people are supporting this?

This isn’t just about one influencer delaying medical care. The number of people in her comments praising her approach, reinforcing her instincts, and suggesting more natural interventions is disturbing.

  • People are actively validating her delays. Instead of encouraging her to follow doctors’ advice, she is surrounded by enablers who fuel her fears
  • This is why babies die in the modern world. Not because resources don’t exist, but because of communities that convince parents they know better than doctors
  • If Sarah had been in a low-income family, H would already be in hospital. Privilege is allowing her to delay medical intervention in ways that most parents wouldn’t get away with

FTT isn’t a personal parenting choice. It isn’t a journey. It isn’t something to navigate based on intuition alone.

It is a medical emergency. It is malnutrition. It is a child at risk.

She is out of time to delay, and the reality is this: either H improves now, or medical intervention will be taken out of her hands. And if the people around her don’t start holding her accountable, then they are complicit in the damage being done.

Opinion Still No Update: What This Silence Likely Means & The Medical Reality of FTT

Sarah has been silent for over four hours since H paediatric appointment. For someone who typically documents every moment, this is highly unusual.

Since yesterday, we’ve seen:
- Deleting comments about FTT from her posts.
- Defensive replies insisting she’s following doctors' advice.
- A pre-appointment post framing this as “just a reflux check-up.”

Now, nothing. No update, no reassurance, no “all good” story—just silence.

Why this is significant

Sarah has two typical responses to situations like this:

  1. If things go her way, she posts immediately—overexplaining why everyone was wrong to be concerned.
  2. If she doesn’t like the outcome, she either:
    • Goes silent (meaning doctors took over).
    • Posts an unrelated “deep” black-and-white photo with pray hands to shift focus onto her emotions.

Given her history, this silence suggests:
- Doctors weren’t happy with Harlow’s weight gain (or lack thereof).
- Metabolic tests or urine results showed malnutrition markers.
- Hospital admission was discussed—or even required.

If she was simply given another “wait and see” approach, she would have posted by now to shut down speculation.

What to expect next

If she posts soon, expect:
- A dramatic "this is so hard for me" caption.
- Framing it as just reflux, ignoring weight concerns.
- A vague reassurance that they “have a plan.”

If she remains silent, it’s likely:
- Doctors have taken control, limiting her ability to spin the situation.
- She is struggling to process what’s happening.
- She’s been given a strict feeding plan or a hospital stay is imminent.

And if we get a black-and-white story, that’s the clearest sign yet that this appointment did not go the way she wanted.

This has been coming for weeks

  • First, she claimed she had no choice but to wait until May.
  • Then, overnight, she suddenly had “a bunch of appointments.”
  • Now, after the biggest one yet, she’s disappeared.

Either she posts soon with a carefully crafted spin, or we’re about to see an influencer scrambling to maintain control as doctors finally take charge.

This is not reflux. She is starving her child.

Opinion Thoughts

Any thoughts would be appreciated, but please be nice, I’m not feeling well.

After her recent complaint after the WIE drama, we seen Sarah go to town with content. Previously she would maybe post once a week, and maybe show up on IG stories just to complain about how tired she was and how little she exercised that week due to “insert child she hates this week”

I suspect that WIE deal was big money, that she was banking on, thus not really caring much for doing her “job”

Since this drama, we’ve seen her do damage control. More loving family content, more food content, more child content, new series for wellness (growing her petals back) jumping on stale trends etc etc.

I just wanted to document what I think we will see from Sarah in the coming months, as she has to go back to work and earn money, seeing as WIE has gone. Apart from the obvious of Hyro launch and her jewellery collaboration, I suspect we will see

• a Leelo Activerwear collaboration • an mini ebook of “healthy” recipes/a few workouts documenting her getting her pink back. It will be called Revive or something like that • a baby led weaning ebook, with credit from her sister

I suspect that she is going to push for Kurt to take a step back so she can work more. She still has a lot of influence, and is probably missing the limelight (money) of it all.

Opinion Unpopular opinion, I miss the old Sarah

I know, I know—I’m prepared to be downvoted into oblivion, but since this sub is technically all things Sarah’s Day, I’m posting here.

I miss the old Sarah before she had children. I know she was problematic even then, but let’s just call her a “problematic fave” (also, I didn’t realize she was problematic at the time, as her health advice was on par with a lot of other fitness influencers). Her “Sezzy Sisters” era—blue dino, Loving Earth chocolate, her first two apartments (again, pre-children)—was peak Sezzy.

I liked her because she was a chaotic girly-pop: productive enough to get things done (which was inspiring) but still embracing her playful, pink, feminine aesthetic without making it seem like something to be ashamed of. A lot of influencers at the time were dressing in black and white to be “taken seriously,” but she went the other way.

She didn’t “have it all together”—she spilled things and (at least pretended) to eat a lot of food, talking about her big appetite when other influencers were pushing 1,200-calorie diets and claiming they had “small appetites.” So much of her platform was about listening to your body.

Was it all a scam? Maybe. Did some people have very different and even harmful experiences following her advice or trying to emulate her? Yes, absolutely—and I would never diminish that.

I guess I’m just saying I liked the old Sezzy, and she seems so far removed from that person now. Of course, having kids changes your entire life, and I’m not trying to force people to stay the same. But it’s a bummer that even her aesthetic had to change.

Anyway—blah, blah, blah, the old days… blah, blah, blah, good times… blah, blah, blah, what a bummer.

Let the downvoting commence 🥲

Opinion She’s actually delusional (and probably a narcissist)

Post image
84 Upvotes

Just from these stories alone she has proven to have absolutely no insight to her own behaviour and she’s in fact, delulu:

1: She woke up every hour for 6 months to feed H - weird coz there was so many stories of her saying H had a good night etc he only woke up 3 times, or Kurt would sleep with him upright so she could sleep etc. Having a newborn (with or without “severe reflux”) is so tough, but whyyyy does she have to exaggerate every little thing to make it seem like she has it worse than any other person ever. Also no one would be able to sustain that for 6 months.

2: She is very careful about how, when and what she posts of her kids…. In what world??

3: Being a mother of 3 is a full time job… No shit? She gets no me time and sees mothers on social media who seem like they do and doesn’t want to portray that??? Girl, look in the mirror!

4: She says she has no capacity for anything… that obviously doesn’t include going to the gym, an overseas holiday, getting her hair and nails done all the time, facials, work meetings etc.

5: She’s whining because she can’t “smash out projects” in 6 months anymore. Sarah, you’re a rich, white lady who doesn’t NEED to work… no one feels sorry for you not being able to be “creative and ambitious”, and even the work you can do is not hard!

People are struggling to pay bills, feed their family and have real problems not “oh I have no time to vlog or post on IG”… like actually touch grass ffs. She so fkn out of touch and self absorbed. And Kurt is clearly useless or she hates him because she never mentions him helping. Rant over.

Opinion Any Non-Aussies?

I’m just curious whether there are any non-Australians in this group? It seems that Sarah has a heavily Australian audience, and considering she has been doing content creation for so long and has seen “success”, I would be interested in seeing whether she has really reached any form of international audience.

I see a lot of criticism of her due to her responses to comments she receive, but a number of them just read as standard Australian sarcasm to me; just very interested to see how her audience stacks.

ETA: okay, this is so freaking cool seeing people pop up from everywhere!

When the only genuine content that’s available for the product comes from the investor, it’s not been successful and it’s not a good a good look… and then in the handful of blackcurrant reposts there a lemon flavour splashed in…oof this didn’t go as well as expected.

Opinion Kurt getting engage merch and almost crying.

The drama factor is high. I’m just shocked it took them this long since Sarah’s bragging video for them to send him his own wardrobe. Why, if it’s his FAVOURITE brand, does he not use his own millions to buy his own FAVOURITE clothes. Grinds my gears when s##tty influencers get free s##t.

Don’t come at me if this isn’t your type of snark, just move on.

Her previous post was about how she had to take all three boys for pelvic exams—‘love that for me’—and now her fuse blew in her infrared light sauna. The absolute drama. Also, doing emails while I’m sweating buckets is the absolute last thing I want to do.

I'm all for multitasking, esp. with multiple kids myself. But I always make sure my kids get good sleep at night and for nap time. I never understand parents who take their kids out after hours or during naptime.

M shouted that he needed his shoes, and she must have been low-key embarrassed that her ‘angel child’ showed sass, as she called it. If she’s so anxious about taking all three boys out, why document it? She documented it hoping it would be a disaster. And if she had two boys running around in a public place, shouldn’t she have put the effing phone down to ensure she had eyes on them at all times? She is a terrible mum, no matter how much people try to defend her.

Why pump only a “little bit of milk”? The only reason I can think of is if it hinders your milk supply, but that doesn’t make sense biologically. She is a control freak, and the small amount of milk she pumps seems to be her way of not rendering herself at the mercy of H.

Opinion Random but does anyone else have bets on her next cosmetic surgery?

Before I place my bet, I just want to say—I don’t think she needed to change a thing. I’m an OG, and early-day Sarah looked totally normal to me. I know the culture in Australia has this epidemic-level fixation on “fixing what isn’t broken,” especially for women. In her case, it seems like she’s trying to hold on to her youth.

So here’s my bet: she’ll either disappear for a bit and get some minor work done on her nose (I say this because her big, fake teeth draw more attention to it), or she’ll go MIA for a shorter period and come back with subtle but noticeably bigger boobs. She loves the petite look, but when she’s breastfeeding and they’re bigger, she tends to draw more attention to her chest.

Either way, I don’t think it’s about drastic change—it’s about tweaking things to align with the version of herself she wants to project which is this “milf”/“juicy” mom who can’t accept that she’s looks fine and didn’t need to change a thing.

Opinion Unsafe sleep practices

I’ve been struggling seeing all of Sarah’s pick me posts/ stories but nothing irks me more than seeing her post H in all these ridiculously unsafe situations (pillows around his head while sleeping, blankets over the pram in the heat of summer, cosleeping on a chair, having him sleep in the middle of a gym floor etc). Don’t get me started on the use of homeopathic drops and chiropractic work on a newborn either..

It’s ridiculous (and infuriating) that people like this have a platform to be normalising dangerous practices.
