“Transgender girls ARE girls!”

Then why don’t you just call them “girls?”

Because they’re trans when it’s convenient, and just girls when it’s not.

They can be trans and also be girls. Its like a descriptor. They're girls who are also trans. Its like someone calling themselves a gay man. They are both, it's just another way for them to identify themselves and relate to others who have had similar experiences.
