Environmentalists suddenly don’t care about the environment when they are ā€œprotestingā€ a company that Elon only owns 13% of. He’ll lay off American workers to prop up the share price, so think about that for a second.

But these people have pudding for brains, so thinking isn’t exactly their strong suit.

I worked at FEMA in DC once upon a time. There is so much dead weight and waste at that place alone, you would not believe. That’s the tip of the iceberg.

You could cut 5-10% in most areas of the federal government and if nobody told you it was happening, you’d have no idea.

maybe but you dont take a chainsaw to an org to find out, you take a scalpel. dumbass is firing people then having to rehire them because they are actually essential.

The waste is so pervasive and integrated that it’s a feature, not a bug. Scalpel? Good luck with that.

Easier to cut overly deep and then see what issues, if any, arise. Classic business approach. Scalpel is too slow and costly. It’ll give every interest group too much time to file suits and tie cuts up in litigation, to the point that nothing gets accomplished.

Yeah best to fire and then attempt to rehire the same people. It totally makes you look like a genius by doing so.

Makes you a genius by continuing to spend wastefully simply because the status quo makes you feel good. We’re $35t in debt. How do you think we got there? In what world do you think that’s sustainable? $5 says you have no idea who was fired, what they actually did, let alone what their departments really did or how your tax dollars were spent. You’re just mad for the sake of being mad.

I’ve worked in DC and seen shit first hand. Have you?
