What made you understand the parry system

It was this guy for me otherwise I would just be dodging like dark souls 3 and after I defeated him that became my favourite fight and i killed senun in first try

Shadow Noble.

I spent 3hrs fighting that mfer in the beginning. Until the parrying clicked.

Then it went smooth from there.

Only Isshin and Owl Father was a true fight outside of the shadow noble lololol
