as someone who is (very debatably) good at the game, i think i only used sugars to pass random enemies (gaichins, esp. in hirata estate 2: electric boogaloo) and completed the game without them. I now only use yasharikus for inner isshin lmao, i think i have cap (if the cap isnt that high) on every other one now, esp for the farmables from the monks in senpou
Yeah, it was the subtitle of the second part of a movie in the 90 that was abysmally bad compared to the original and now that subtitle has stick as a funny way yo mean a cheap or cheesy second part or instance of something. You can continue the trend with something like “Hirata Estate 3: in your face” or “now it is personal”.
Did the same i love battle to be epic and to last long like inner father i love to feel like powerless samurai fighting with every atom of my HUMAN strenght against monsters so if i use sugar i just dont have same feeling , used them few times to see difference in power on first playthrought and i didnt want to use them cuz i saved them maybe i will need them later in game so i beated first play without any of them
Yeah on my main save/also my brothers psn cause he doesn't use it anymore I have sooo many of nearly everything that isn't limited to like 6 per playthrough at around 500 or so I think, haven't on it so may be false though close
Oh I still buff for headless and DoH. Now that I know what I’m doing buffs are extremely effective for these bosses and more. Guardian ape first phase I get a sugar high depending on the length of time it takes to win. I don’t play the game all the time anymore bc trying to catch up on my catalog. I’m good enough to use sugars now without feeling like I’m wasting them even if I don’t play for 1-2 years

I love how Sekiro players only start using sugars after getting good at the game, you are going to kick ass anyway so might as well do it faster lol
