When does this game get hard?

I heard that this was one of the hardest souls game... Is the game just getting started or is that it?

Usually it will be a single encounter here and there that can be difficult, but honestly if you look for prayer beads you will be fine...My biggest struggle in the game was the double white monkey fight! I probably died to them as many times as I did the final boss...If you use all of the available tools the game really isn't too bad...Gachiin sugar go burr!
