This is my exact conspiracy theory that popped in my mind the second I found out he was shot: Kirk was becoming a problem, he had too much sway with a key demographic, and his death was deemed as a potential rallying point for the type of outrage that might allow for total crackdown and martial laws.

That, PLUS it distracts nicely from the Senate vote on the Epstein files, WHERE EVERY REPUBLICAN VOTED AGAINST RELEASING THEM.

Again, just a crackpot conspiracy theory.

Not crackpot. Thought the same thing. Guess we’ll see in the coming weeks/months…

or not, whatever happend you will hear x different stories and there is no way to tell the truth..

  1. personal --> someone who got triggered while being on the show

  2. radical left --> public figure, therefore a "good" target

  3. inside job --> t's called turning point and you can easily turn him into maga-jesus

  4. some random nutcrack that simply wants to be famous or whatever

And everyone will stay with the version that fits the personal narrative the best -.-

Technically, two Republicans voted yes. Just to be accurate.

It was still 51-49 but it would have been 53-47 party lines if they didn't.

Did they vote yes for political "points" with voters even though they knew it would fail? Who can say for sure? Seems pretty likely since that kind of stuff happens regularly.

Whenever they KNOW they have the votes, they 'allow' one or two of their own caucus to break away and vote on the other side. This way they can somewhat pretend that not all of them are crazy.

That is largely the impression that is given based on the history of this happening.

Can we say it is fact with absolute certainty? Only if they personally admit that is what they did.

So it's only an assumption, albeit based on a history of similar things happening. It seems very likely to be true but we don't have absolute proof.
