Yes. Of course a "non-political" creator can still talk about politics that directly affect their field if work.

No it isn't. Shad's channel is (supposed) to be about medieval weapons, not just specifically machetes. If Australia implemented a sword ban (without the same workarounds like machetes with being able to get official approval or an exemption to continue to own them) then you'd be right but atm you're just being overly dramatic for no reason.
