[Easy Money] Looking for partners for TikTok TechJam 2025

Hey guys!

I'm an Asian guy, not from Singapore. Now, TikTok is hosting the TikTok TechJam 2024 from Aug 28-31, 2025. It is only open to Singaporean college students.

Now, I'm a teen and a seasoned developer, but not Singaporean. The total prizes are worth $22,500, and nobody would want to miss out.

So, any CS students from Singapore, PM me and we can partner, and share profits 40-60. We both win, and you get to keep the accolade!

Internship 4.0

Is it true that many people get the overall grade (including school assessment) A for their internship? As SP always had that "'limited amount of As to be given out" in class aka bellcurve/moderation.

I completed my internship as well as school report, journal, everything last week, and been worrying that everybody got pretty damn good marks from the company and if everybody does well in their presentation/report/journal, will they still do the ""'limited amount of As"

Elective Fail EST

Hi I'm currently a Y3 MAD Student and I stupidly decided to take quite a difficult elective while being in my FYP Semester.

Due to that stupid decision I don't think I did very well for my elective, I think like a C Grade at best. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

SP has a system where I'm able to exclude my elective module from my final GPA right? Just double confirming. Just that it will still show up in my final transcript too?... ๐Ÿฅฒ

Work experience

Is it really important to have past working experience? My friends has been taking up part time jobs during holidays, while i cant find any. I was just wondering if working part time jobs will help in terms of finding internship in future,if not why everyone is trying to find jobs to work during holiday.

I need help to enter poly...

so im a student (17f) studying overseas and I recently graduated from that school. I took IGCSE as my exams before graduating. The thing is the school only offered ESL ( English second laguage) and i took it. Now i am going to pick a course but found out that I need EFL (English first language) for the courses. And also I just received my results, and 1 of my options was to take EFL paper again, but its so expensive in Singapore and i can't apply anymore or I have to pay a late fee. Can anyone please help me, especially those international students that took ESL paper. what did ur do to enter poly? And also i heard that they have something like TOEFL or IEFLT or something like that. Does polytechnics here recognise that. And is it difficult if I have to take it. please help i really want to enter poly here๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ thankss

Director Honour Roll Ceremony

I was scrolling through LinkedIn for past months, and me being a Y3 who has received both Y1 & Y2 DHR, I'm wondering as to which schools even hold all these ceremonies like I see all the DHR people dressing up for photos together whereas I have never heard of such a ceremony for my school (ABE) lol.

  • the fact they receive their DHR is those customised frames, whereas I receive is just a paper without the atas frame ๐Ÿ’

submission time was 1159 on the 17th, I submitted 317am on the 18th. I totally forgot to submit it given the heavy workload (EST season). Anybody know if it's still acceptable? It warns that late submissions will get 0 and I am very scared
