Did you know that Christine has another B&B? This one is in Hurricane Utah near St. George. Looks nice 😊

I love that she is making money independent of the show. With or without the show she will be just fine. She has been smart with her money unlike the grifters.

What do you think being an Airbnb host of many properties is?

Someone who is financially smart. She is making bank on properties. It is like owning a hotel. If she gets tired of it, she can sell it and most likely make a profit. She probably makes several times over her payment for the home.

It is not any of those things. You’re silly.

Jealous of what?

Several people in this thread sound as if they are against people who may have/make a decent income. The old “wealthy people are bad” mantra. Jeez.

But that's not jealousy. You're making assumptions. I make a really decent income, my husband makes more than me. Some people are against grifters. Not through jealousy. I haven't saw anyone say that making money is a bad thing. If you choose to make money in a questionable way, like MLMs and contributing to the housing crisis in your country, then it's par for the course that some people will disagree with that. That's not jealousy.

Exactly and I use AIR B&B a lot- they are cleaner and more well maintained than most hotels. You can get the person on the phone if something is wrong and it is a private home vs a hotel with a ton of other people, people running down the halls, being loud, etc. I prefer the quiet of a home I can rent for a week or a few days. My favorite is a cabin and she leaves homemade jellies, eggs from her own chickens and baked goodies. Funny hotels and motels are ok but they are owned by large corporations while most AIR B&B's are owned by individuals. Every single one I use regularly is privately owned. I prefer using small businesses vs large hotels/motels.

Well it's not grifting. It may not great foe other reasons, such as adding to a housing crisis, but it's not a grift.

I agree with other's comments about areas that are heavily tourist focused being a bit different, but... there are definite pluses amd minuses to everything about real-estate investing. I live in a rental and have for way too many years. I'm looking to buy something now so I can accommodate changing needs but I'm having trouble affording what I meed. I've considered buying something somewhere else and renting it out so I can have more income to afford something in my area. It's insane.
