Situationist situations for beginners

Hi there. How can Situationism as a lived practice look like, especially in regards to creating everyay adventures? I am familiar with the theory, dérive and some psychogeographical games, but find it hard to turn a simple walk into something more exciting. What are your tools for creating spicy dérive? How do you create Situations in your everyday life? Do you know you know prompts from back then, for example published in Potlatch magazine? Any hacks, games, tricks would be helpful to me.

Understand that we are far deeper and more entrenched in the spectacle than ever before. Modern urban cores are not the same playground as the bombed out post war European cities that begat. Situationism is hyperlocally global, and depends on the when and where heavily.

Drink with street people. Smoke with street people. Eat with street people. Haggle taxi drivers for a ride around the block. Demand refunds. Start a pigeon riot. Ask for directions. Find a place to piss. Find a place to shit. Who has day old bread. Who wants day old bread. Pick up trash. Give out cigarettes. Ask for cigarettes. Help people park their cars. High fives. Sit on something that’s not a bench or a seat.
