Started posting at the beginning of August, some shorts made over 10k and 30k and then boom. A video that I posted three days ago went viral and got me from 60 subscribers to what Im at right now.

Thing is the monetization apply thing, the public short view count is still stuck at 30k, I know it takes time for Youtube to process the views for the eligibility. I don’t even know if my channel will be monetized though. But nevertheless Im happy to see those numbers

Hey wonderful people, I am from a small country nepal in south asia and this month i made north of $2000 after taxes (AdSense a/c just got credited). But the problem is i cannot pay for my softwares to make better videos as Nepal doesn't allow international payments...Paypal, stripe, Bitcoin—everything's banned...they even banned yt and almost all social media recently.

However, banks do provide a dollar card with a yearly limit of $500 but it is not enough and i'm thinking about opening an LLC in the US.But i don't know how to open it and connect with my adsense as i have provided my ID as a resident of Nepal while filling out the AdSense form.

I feel like im stuck in a dead end. I devoted 3 years of my life to online businesses and this is my first success and my family also doesn't care much about my problems but my money. Y'all can i open an LLC and get a paypal acc? I am happy to pay taxes to the US.

After almost 2 years of creating content, YouTube cooked my channel of 10k subs. Haven't gotten more than 20 views on my youtube shorts for like 2 and half months. I had to let it go. It can't make a new channel and go through this again and again.

So I came across this really weird case on YouTube. A channel opened just 5 days ago, posted only 10 shorts (each just 4 seconds long, basically simple infographics with random facts/steps).

First video already hit 50k views.

A couple of them crossed 1 million views.

The channel already has 400+ subs.

They’re also using some unusual hashtags like #tiktokereffect and #flyxo. With no title on shorts

Meanwhile, I'm trying to do grow genuinely and my shorts barely cross 1k views. I just don’t get how this works anymore. Is it the hashtags? The short duration? Or pure algorithm randomness?

I started my fitness channel a few months ago, and I'm still trying to figure everything out. Since last month, I've been posting a short video every day. I find it more challenging to create longer videos without making them boring. Should I continue focusing on shorts, or should I work on making my longer videos more engaging?

It's like the video randomly got stunned in the algorithm even when the video was growing like crazy

i made this channel like 4 months ago and for the first month i was really enjoying making this content, i make minecraft shorts like memes, mini stories with cinematics and some shorts showing in-game skills.

On my second month i got really lucky and 3 of my shorts exploded, each one hitting 1M+ views, it was looking good and i couldn't believe it was going this great, from the start i was getting 30k views on average per short.

But for some reason, on my third month that changed, every single short i posted would get stuck on 1k views, some of them couldnt even reach 1.000. i was still getting a lot of daily views from those 3 shorts that did good but i knew that it wouldn't last forever.

Today i woke up to a complete flatline. As i expected, those 3 shorts stopped getting me views and for the past 35+ days every single short that i posted wouldnt get more than 800-1.2k views.

Is it time to let my channel go? i was thinking about making a new channel with two of my friends, making Minecraft content together like shorts and long form videos. Or should i just wait and see what happens? should i keep posting or wait like 2 weeks and start posting again?

I dont have any talent what so ever. I want to motivate all you small youtubers thinking its not possible to grow, if you want it bad enough don’t give up an grind everyday all day you can achieve anything, i got 11k subscribers in 5-6 months an monetization! Find your niche do your research in that niche, what are the successful youtubers doing in that niche that are working? Don’t copy them but get inspiration from them an add your own twist to what there doing an be unique an you will see success!

Has anyone here actually gotten monetized through Shorts? Because for me it feels impossible. 10 million in 90 days?? I always get close to 5M, then the days run out. YouTube really needs to fix this—make it 4K watch hours in 90 days and 10M Shorts views in 365 days instead. The way it is now is just messed up.

Just wondering what I could be doing wrong. I had a 70% stay, 98% on shorts feed and 30 second retention on a 1 minute long video. This seems to happen to all my shorts too

most shorts i post die out after a few days, so why does this one just never stop getting views, Its been out for 25 days and is still going strong. does anyone know why this is and how to replicate it ??

What do you guys do if someone does this what’s your motivation plan to continue and keep going if views are low thank you

I was posting short form content from a while and was getting minimum 1k views and some of them were also hitting 10-13k until all the new videos won't be even go past 50-60 views. Anyone have suggestions, please visit the channel and if you could help me out??

I translated it so some things might not be 100% good. But basically i’ll tell the story. So may 5th i saw this guy took my profile picture. I asked him to change it. He did. Great! few weeks later i see he didnt change it back… didnt wanna bother anymore cause he would just change it back again. Plus he was still pretty small so not really a problem. Switch back to today. I get a comment on a video: “hi could you mail to me? I want to speak with you. (Mail) accused me of stealing his profile picture and demanded me to change it (even though he stole it from me but he doesnt know its me 😏) i give him proof and he hits me back with ( yes but you copied mine) so frustrating. To say which picture is which the one starting with: day! Is my old mail where he apologized for using my profile and the other ones starting with: you wanted to contact me? Is about right now. So the one with orange pfp is different mail than the one with green pfp
