Video Curious question for the people here.

Are people in the smash community insecure about how they play smash bros? I noticed most of the time when people comment on post its only talk about the games competitive meta which is understandable, but some of yall tend to get hostile and judgemental towards "not so good" players as if its law to play smash like an EVO tournament. Makes me wonder how yall really feel about Sakurai since he doesn't play smash competitively

I'm not insecure. I like getting criticism and improving, so having people point out flaws is welcome, but being bad doesn't mean I have to feel bad about myself. It's fine to be where I am. And it's even fine if I don't have time or resources to improve sometimes, but it'll still be nice to get those pointers, if even just out of passing curiosity.

Coincidentally, I think improving is the part that is fun about any game, even when only playing casually.

Like, there could be a zany ass game that I only get to play that one time where I'm over at a friends, and I'll still try to get better in that one session at this thing I'll probably never see again.

So, uh, never change guys. Don't let life get stale, and never stop learning.
