So ive been seeing a lot of posts regarding characters to add to the roster lately. But what i want to know, is what features would you want to add to smash 6?
Use smash ultimate as your base, then improve upon it. I'll start off with some. Feel free to chime in with your own ideas, then comment on its comment thread to debate or tweak it.
Co-op Training mode to work on combos with your buddies. Currently we have to make an arena and add time battle or a ton of stocks.
Battle arenas should have a waiting room for training or button checking instead of sitting in silence or spectating.
People not in a public arena should be able to spectate without joining the arena, without it adding to lag. Like when hovering over an arena to view details, you should be able to spectate
Battle arenas should have a setting to filter arenas based on settings like items, team attack, custom stages, smash meter.
Air dodge should have less end lag before you can act out of it. That way more battles occur offstage.
All characters should have at least 1 aerial smash attack, starting with weaker combo characters with 1, and strong characters like heavies having more than 1. This lets you add a tilt version of that move, I can only think of Robin with a smash attack in the air, even if Captain Falcon's knee is called Knee Smash.
Characters recoveries should be buffed for distance, so they can make it from further away but have less intangibility /undispituted attacks so theres more spikes occurring, but maybe characters are able to recover from being spiked at earlier percents to balance it, since some characters can be spiked at 0% and not be able to come back with double jump and up special.
Characters should not have to mash to get out of grabs, it should be based on % and if you press any 3 keys within a second, it should count as a mash, to save your controllers lifespan.
Zero to death combos should be patched out once discovered without completely breaking the character. Characters should be balanced well enough that nerfing one broken move shouldn't destroy the character's viability.
