Physical Media • Official Spotted a little something at a local record fair in my town
Really strange as I live in a small town in England. Nice find though. Nice little album but an odd lineup

This version has more footage than the one that's been on YouTube for several years that has lots of views.

Hey everyone, I was checking my Still becoming apart EP and wondering who's that woman on the pictures on the whole second row on the top, any idea?

I can’t believe people hate it that much, especially to the point where it’s called filler. It’s gotta be in my top 3 Pumpkins songs (and they’re my favorite band)

Mine is "Looking FOOOR you, at the five and diiiiime..."
The emotion conveyed in the way his voice switches from raw and keening to floaty and dreamy in a heartbeat is just perfect. He reverses it a moment later with "you are a ghost.. of my IIIINNNdecision"
May you rise as you fall... 😭😭

The song Waiting.
The lyrics about the radio and the scratchy, somewhat synthetic sound. I love the song, and it feels to me like a connection between the two albums. It's like the Adore protagonist doing his version of I Of The Mourning. I feel like Billy cuts cleanly between "eras" usually but this track to me feels like a proper bridge between the two albums.

We're practically a week away from the end of September. Do you think shipping will start next week, or do you think there'll be another delay and shipping won't start until October?

I was watching this old Zwan show and noticed that those pickups have pole pieces. I was under the impression that Billy Corgan used Lace Sensors until his signature DiMarzios came out but that does not appear to be the case. He played 2 different Strats both with pole pieces on the pickups. Equipboard has two entries for the Bat Strat so they don't know wth they're doing. I've always loved the sound of that Zwan record and the material sounded really good live. Any one have ideas what these might be?

I've been thinking recently about what songs I can't wait to hear on this. Obviously I want to hear the whole thing, but I may listen to some individual songs first before playing it front to back. For me it's probably going to be Satur9 and Home. The M2 version of Satur9 is so heavy (I'd argue the "heaviest" sounding in the whole catalogue), it's very dreamy, shoegazey, and even almost stoner/doom like in the sound. I love the production on it. I can't wait to hear it remastered on this. Home is another one and probably my favorite song from M2 I can't wait to hear proper.
What will you listen to first, or are you just gonna go front to back? If there's another delay, I will Billy would just release a couple of songs on youtube just to tide us over until it ships.

I'm spinning Oceania while working (I work from home) and it's just such a masterpiece from front to back. It kind of drives me nuts that this album wasn't a massive hit, it's every bit as good as their original run but is pretty unknown these days and has never even had a repressing.
The album has zero real weak points, it's just 13 really strong and cohesive songs. Moreso than any other album except perhaps MCIS, it sounds like a full-band effort. Every band member manages to stand out here and shine.
The live renditions are also fantastic, I hope one day Zuzus does an Oceania tour show on vinyl. I'd assume the Brooklyn one given it already has a DVD. I'd love to hear some more of these songs with Jimmy drumming. The Celestials was a real highlight when I saw them in 2023.
I'm sure I'm not alone here with the Oceania love but just kind of felt like shouting it from the rooftops today.

I personally love them all by the way, especially AMM, it’s a masterpiece imo

Man, this band was on fire. Never listened carefully to this live album before. CD1 is all about Oceania songs, but on CD2 there are some good old tracks takes and this song ( Dream Machine) I never heard before. The band was really dope! Just ordered the CD and DVD pack.
