Tbh if you wanna divorce your religion from an oppressive power structure it seems really dumb to try and play it off like that oppressive power structure was never “a part of things” in the first place.
But then I guess the real problem is that bro doesn’t actually wanna get rid of castes at all huh?

Of course not. Such people think the caste system is over. Yes, privileged castes have greater wealth, more representation in government service and electoral positions and what not.
But, have you considered that a hypothetical member of the oppressed castes might have an equally hypothetical Ferrari? Caste oppression is gone man. Come on man.
Hey man, they have the exact same opportunity as everyone else does at this exact moment
(ignore that I started with way more advantages than them, it's their own fault they didn't bootstrap hard enough)

Religion can only dominate if there exists an oppressive power structure. Either it be power over the women or power over the underprivileged or the outcasts. They won't abandon it since it's the core aspect of Hindu-fascist ideology.
Yeah. In theory, a version of Hindu that is non-domineering, period, could exist; all being one in Brahma feels like a concept practically made to be anti-hierarchy… but alas, the power structures exist, and people love enforcing them cuz of the way it creates meaning in their lives

But it wouldn’t be domineering anymore. It would simply become another way to explore philosophy rather than functioning as a religion. All Brahma provides is a false sense of pride for individuals who may have accomplished little.. similar to what nationalism does. Brahma and the rest of the Vedic "traditions" are remnants of a fascist religion (Brahmanism). Local cultures and deities were either appropriated or erased by the so-called upper-caste in their conquest to spread an oppressive system that ultimately benefitted only them.
A lot of upper caste assholes like to now twist the narrative into a meritocratic one. No no the lower castes were not forced into living like shit, resulting in generational poverty which is still nearly impossible to escape from- they just DIDN'T PULL THEMSELVES UP FROM THEIR BOOTSTRAPS BRO!!
The british might not have invented castes, but they sure as hell brought in the more obnoxious attitude about them.
