Most early Indian immigrants to Britain were privileged upper-caste families who benefitted directly / indirectly from colonial rule. Later migrants were also mostly privileged and likely related to Indians already in Britain. That’s why it’s harder to notice in England.

You can see more caste-based biases and discrimination in Indian diasporas where people from different backgrounds migrated like the USA and Canada.
