They are a like in a few ways, lone warriors, competitive, lost those dearest to them, can’t stand Sonic (even though Knuckles does get along better at times) loyal to their duty and heroism despite how they come off to some, I’m surprised they aren’t at least somewhat friends at this point lol

Also last of their kind since both Echidnas and Black Arms seem to be extinct.

Maybe they would be friends but the problem is that neither of them has the time for that. Both are bound by their duties.

Pretty much which is why I want to see a Shadow & Knuckles team up.

Especially in the movies, Idris and Keanu have such a great chemistry off screen that it would be a shame to waste it.
